Xtera AscenLink solution offers industry’s most comprehensive WAN Load balancing for all enterprises

AscenLink is a device that congregates multiple ISP and WAN links and provides WAN load balancing and WAN fault tolerance to guarantee internet connectivity, external connection stability, and reliable transmission. The new AscenLink 5.4 release features the vastly improved Tunnel Routing specifically designed for critical business applications. The device not only supports Dynamic Public IP but also Private IP, making it ideal for enterprises to establish tunnels across multiple branch locations. In addition, the new feature includes AES encryption algorithm which enables data encoding when passing through tunnels. The device can also be able to establish complete sets of tunnel routing rules, thus simplifying the process of network management.

The announcement of AscenLink 5.4 release occurred a month after the release of Xtera’s other main product: AscenFlow V3.0, which features revolutionary string matching technique in Layer 7 protocol identification, enabling solid analysis of protocols and accurate identification of P2P applications. The product also includes latency analysis which helps network administrators by improving system transparency. This feature identifies reasons of bandwidth congestion and poor performance of remote servers.

Both products include new and elegant user-friendly Web UI which simplifies bandwidth management as well as reducing the cost of ISP to WAN, and takes network visibility and reliability onto the next level.
